Early morning you wake up and see the weather too cool for an outing or too disturbing to remain at home, what to do next if it is weekday and you need to go to work. Here are some best, and of course cool, excuses to convey your boss why you are not coming for work.
Sprain
Many may not know ankle or wrist sprain is very painful, but not a fatal kind of course. It attracts much sympathy as no one could see someone in physical pain. This has made a good excuse to bunk from work as the boss would understand why coming to office is not possible. Also, sprain does not require seeing a doctor and hence there is no point showing some kind of medical evidence.
Car Troubles
This excuse may not be valid if you work from home, but it can be really applied if you travel to office by car. Those who own a car knows sometime stuff could happen to cause unable to drive. One of the most common excuses is that the car is running out of gas. This can be believed if a hole can be found in the gas tank. You can also make an excuse you have locked your keys in the car. Apart from all these, you can say the engine or transmission is having problems.
Having a Fall
Having a fall is a good excuse, but it need to be improvised to make boss believe. You can say had a fall off a ladder while changing a lightbulb or cleaning the gutters. You can also say got a fall while taking a shower and this is very believable as the bathroom tiles become very slippery due to soap and water while taking bath.
House Theft
This can be something really scary. The boss will surely believe if you say had a house broken and possessions have been stolen. The incidence result with trauma and in such condition one cannot be in a situation to go to work. If not, you can say your boss going out to buy a security system to get installed at home immediately after someone tried to break-in.
Allergy
This is one more good and fake medical excuse. It is known virtually everyone suffers from at least one type of allergy. Also, one can be allergic to any number of things including latex, pollen, peanuts, animals and even medication. You can say your boss the allergic reaction is spreading and so coming to work is not possible. You can add it is unknown allergy and you are not aware what caused it.
Lice
Lice excuse is one of the best one and your boss may even give couple of extra day-offs. No one wants to get lice as it is irritably itchy and also difficult to get rid of. Attending work place with lice may infest other workforce.
