Guys, listen up!
Girls are incredibly complex human beings, and with hormones messing with our bodies month in and month out, how else do you expect us to be? That, combined with how society expects a girl to act (she’s damned if she does, she’s damned if she doesn’t), there are some things you won’t ever hear from a her mouth.
I’m about to spill some major beans about things that your girlfriend secretly likes/does/thinks, but will never in a million years admit to you. So if you’d like to know a bit more about how our minds work, read on. Take notes if you have to!
Manly Man
She likes it when you look after and pamper her. Having a strong man that is ready to go to war for her is a major turn on. This doesn’t mean that she wants you to be physically jacked up or always be “manly”, but when she sees you kill that spider so she doesn’t have to, it makes something inside tingle. Bring her a box of chocolates when she’s on her period, and you just scored yourself some major points!
Jealousy
It’s true; women love it when their significant other gets jealous. It tells her that you care; and if you feel jealous that someone else is doing something that you should be doing for/with her, then do it! But that doesn’t mean you should be getting jealous about everything, that’s one of the biggest deal breakers in any relationship. It shows her you don’t trust her and trust is a major factor in a couple’s happiness.
(Jealousy) …Both Ways
She gets jealous of things that are pretty insignificant, like thinking about how you spend more time everyday with your co-workers than with her, or how you went out with your friends while she stayed home. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with either of those things, and she knows it too (in fact, the roles may even be reversed at times), but she just can’t help feel that two seconds of jealousy. She knows it’s irrational, which is why she’d never admit it to you!
Her Baby
She likes babying you. Someone once told me that a woman’s first child is her husband/boyfriend, and that’s actually pretty accurate. Not only do we have to constantly tell you where to find your socks, how that tie doesn’t go with that shirt, to not overwork yourself, to have proper meals when we aren’t around, we also have to take care of you when you’re upset or sick, and we love it!
Grossing Out
You think guys have the market on grossing out cornered? Think again. She might pretend to be disgusted when rip a fart in the middle of a conversation (at home, I hope), but she’d never tell you that she does the same when she’s by herself. Or that she wears stinky clothes because she couldn’t be bothered to do her laundry, or that she ate that pizza that was sitting out all night, or that she pees in the shower too, or that she just can’t be bothered making her bed in the morning.
Cyber Stalking
If you’ve got a girlfriend, chances are she’s stalked you online at some point or the other. She’s liked every post of yours on Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat, she’s gone through your phone (and texts) at least once depending on the length of your relationship, and she might even have mini-stalked your ex! But that’s not because she doesn’t trust you, she just wants to know everything there is to know about you; she does it out of love, really!
